Maggie and Marie,
Our thoughts and prayers are still with you as they have been from the beginning of Kathy's battle. Her spirit, smile and giggle will never be forgotten. We all had great times at the farm laughing with Kathy and Cheryl as they baked in sun and enjoyed their beverages! I smile when I remember those hot summer days. Your mom was a very special lady, as well as the both of you. We were all blessed to know her!

Dan and I are sad to hear of the death of Effie. She was our neighbor when we lived in Edinburg many years ago. She was a light in our lives and was very wonderful to our son Dustin at the time. He is now grown up, but we will never forget her wonderful personality and lovely heart.

My prayers are with you, Maggie and Marie and Kathy's parents. Don and I knew Kathy from working at the Westward Ho. She was a hard worker and a gentle person. I had so many great conversations with Kathy. Everbody who worked with her loved her. Marie, you were my oldest son's first babysitter. Maggie, we used to talk. You are both so precious. I know how much Kathy's family means to her. She also loved Goldens and going to DL. It was so great being around Kathy. She would giggle softly and mutter something under her breath that was all the more funnier. All I can say is that Don and I are so fortunate that we had the chance to know her, and we are very, very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. May God bless her and bring you peace. Kathy's kindness and efforts to help others will not be forgotten. Our family will be praying for all of you.

I want to express my sympathy to the Murray family. I met Kathy at some ND Peace Officer's Conventions and always visiting with her. She will be missed by all of us in the law enforcement community. May she rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.I've worked with Kathy for years in Grafton,and found her to be one of the best investigators I've ever met.She was a credit to her profession.Over and above that,Kathy was a wonderful,warm,witty person,who could always find a reason to laugh.She will be deeply,deeply missed.
You should be very proud of her acomplishments.Even though she was small in stature,she knew how to play with the "Big Dogs",and usually won!
