In Memory Of: Verna Johnson
Comments: I grew up with Verna and Victor at Zion, but I have been fortunate to get to know her better as an adult. For the last 2 years I've been back in Park River every month for meetings at the hospital. Verna kept track of me. She always knew when there was a construction meeting; and I think, was glad to sit down with me for our monthly visits. We were more alike than I ever knew or though possible and I was surprised by her. She told me she was proud of me... an that meant a lot. She loved Victor deeply, the kind of love other people dream about. I'm glad they are together again.

In Memory Of: Verna Johnson
Comments: My thoughts are with Aunt Verna's family and friends during this time. I have many memories of Verna from growing up and as an adult. I will never forget her wonderful sense of humor. Whenever I think of Verna, I think of Victor as well. They had a true love story, and I know they are delighted to be together again in heaven. My condolences to the Lee and Johnson families and the many friends that were so good to Victor and Verna for all of these years.
Blessings,
Angie (Lee) Ott and family
(David and Karen Lee's daughter)

In Memory Of: Verna Johnson
Comments: Aunt Verna was also my godmother. I remember so many happy times with her and Victor while I was growing up. They hosted many Johnson family reunions at their farm.
Verna was a very talented musician and very generous with sharing her talent, especially with Zion Lutheran Church.
She greatly missed her beloved Victor these past years and it is a comfort to know that they are now together again.

In Memory Of: Tom Johnson
Comments: I was so saddened to hear of Tom's death. We have so many fond memories of Tom from our Hoople days, i.e. softball tournaments when Tom was "managing" the Hoople Bar team, dancing with Tom when we all followed the Bob and the Flashbacks band around all over the place, Tom's happiness when he and Sue married, and many other happy times. Please accept our sincere condolences and also our apologies for not being able to attend the service tomorrow. Our prayers will be with you all.

In Memory Of: Margaret Demester
Comments: Margaret would always have a smile on her face and was quick to laugh, during the times I went with Kelly Moe (my sister-in-law) to visit her. No doubt the smile that graced her face still beams wherever she may be. A wonderful woman, who will be remembered by her wonderful family. She will be greatly missed.
