The loss of a Sister Law Enforcement Officer is a hard one to bear. I have had the pleasure of knowing Kathy for a long time, and she will indeed be missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all who knew or were touched by Kathy, may God grand His peace.

Ashley,Amber,Doug so sorry to hear of the passing of Cindy, I worked with her at the Developmental Center, She had bought our home in Grafton, where she had the day care. I too had a daycare there for 5 yrs. She was such a sweet and caring gal. Always smiling. We had lost touch after I moved to Austin Mn. But I always remembered her smile. My sympathies go out to all the families! I am an old high school friend of Mitsy's and also know Joy, Doug, and I met Cindy when she and I both worked at the Developmental Center. She was always a sweetheart that I can remember! I remember when she quit to open up her own daycare. Later I also quit the Dev. Center and would run into her once and awhile, but I haven't seen her now since before she was ill. My prayers are with you, and thinking you weren't married very long, but I am sure you loved for a lifetime! Give Mitsy a hug also for me and tell her to email me with updates, as I think of her often and her struggles also! Love and prayers to you, and Cindy's girls, whom I know she was very proud of,and your families also! May God Bless!

Dear Family of Cindy - we are so sorry to hear of her passing. We understand how hard this must be for all of you and we want you to know you are in our prayers. We met Cindy when she first moved to Grafton,as a young single gal,and got a job at K-mart. She always had a smile on her face - even when the chips were down - and we hope Ashley & Amber can carry on that trait of hers! YOU GALS MADE HER SO PROUD! God just had a better plan for her. My sympathy, Teresa, for your mother's death. I read her obit in the Grand Forks Herald and wanted to let you and Tom know that Steve and I were thinking about you. I'm not sure the address I have for is is still current. It is a hard thing to lose a mother even if she has lived a good, long life...she's still your mom. Think of her and smile and take comfort and strength from your family.

My condolences to Kathy's family and daughters. I was so sorry to hear of Kathy's fight with cancer and passing. Although I can't be at her memorial service, my thoughts and prayers will surely be with all of you. I will always remember Kathy and all the good times we had during our school years, especially junior high. Those memories of Kathy have and always will put a smile on my face.
