I was saddenned to hear of Stephen's passing. I did not get to know him well but I liked Stephen and wish I would have gotten to know him better. He struck me as someone who cared about others in a quiet sensitive manner. I will always remember him with utmost respect. My prayers go out to his loved ones.

Dear Val and Family,
Maureen and Dave just emailed me and I know how sorry they are that Dave cannot come back to be a pal bearer. It is such an honor. At the moment I am stunned. Every summer my time at the lake included a visit from Steve to catch me up on everything. I will truly miss him. Lake Melissa will not be the same. I hope to see you next summer when I bring my mom up to the lake. My sincere condolences.
