In Memory Of: Nellie Estad

I was saddened to hear about Nellie's passing. My parents were Arthur and Selma (Ellingson)Anderson. I originally am from Hanley Falls MN. I have a brother, Douglas Anderson and a sister Audrey Listul, who live in Cottonwood,MN. My brother Darrold died in WWII, and my other sister Adeline Torke passed away last summer. My mother Selma would talk of Nellie often, along with Bella too. My wife,Barbara and I send our condolences to you all. It seems our family gets smaller as the years go by. We know she was loved by many and leaves many good memories for all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jim and I have fond memories of Louie,especially choir and his sense of humor. We remembered a letter he wrote to Jim, when we lived in Minnesota, that he ended with a drawing of a rabbit. Guess he thought we were rabbit chokers.

Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Violet will always be remembered as a hardworking, kind woman who loved her family and gatherings. Whenever there was a get together you could guarantee she would be there. I think the one that was the most fun was over at Lake Bronson when Randy and I were first married. I had no idea there were so many relatives. I will also remember Violet as one of the mothers of my classmate, which also made her close.
