In Memory Of: Tom Trelfa

To the Family and Friends,
I knew Tom from my time working at Northwest Airlines in Grand Forks. I was very saddened to hear of his recent passing. He was a wonderful and kind person, and he made life at the airport enjoyable and worthwhile. I know that everyone who knew him will surely miss his outgoing character and sense of humor. I offer my sorrow and condolances to his family.

Bob and I attended Farmington District ll0 country school in rural Grafton.
He was always friendly to my sister, Lorraine, who was in his class, and I.
It's difficult to read obituaries when the deceased is about the same age, and it really puts life in perspective. My condolences to his family.

My Sympathies to Tom's friends, family and extended family.... my mom played/sang in the Ecumenical choir w/ Tom in Oslo; and I attended school w/ Tom's children. There will certainly be an emptiness in our hearts for those that knew Tom. Many blessings to you all.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad, Bob. Although we did not know know him intimately, it is clear that he has left a legacy in the community that will long be remembered. It is also apparent that his greatest imapact was also through the very fine children he raised, that now follow in his footsteps as community leaders, role models, and passionate people that make a difference in the lives of others.

I got to know Bob Dahl because I received the Charles E. Dahl Award for Leadership when I graduated from Law School. Bob Dahl was a wonderful gentleman and a fine lawyer. I recall seeing him and talking about his retirement. He said what he most enjoyed was helping with young people. He has passed but the many wonderful things he did for people will long live on. My condolences to his other friends and family.

We could always count on Mary Lou for a cheerful smile and a friendly comment. Susan and I both delighted in talking with her. She always expressed an interest in how we were doing and hoped the best for us. We appreciated that very much. May she rest in peace.
