Although we never met Grandma Mandy, we could tell that she was very special to those who loved her. Her songs and stories were enjoyed by her granddaughter and great granddaughters in Cavalier and will be special memories.

May Hildegard rest in peace in God's Heavenly Kingdom.She was a beautiful and wonderful person. I was blessed to have met Hildegard and especially to have been able to share some of my life,in Germany, with her and Allen and the members of her family there. Also to have shared in all the years of her life through family pictures and letters and cards for over 47 years. With my sympathy to Allen and all members of her family and all her friends.

My love goes out to you and your families as you say your earthly farewells to dear Mandy. I have such wonderful memories from childhood in Edinburg. Sandy and Mandy figure in them resoundingly. Mandy was another mother to me, and Sandy taught me about growing up gracefully.

So sorry that we couldn't be there during this time of sadness. I have such wonderful memories of my childhood visits to Uncle Wendell's farm and Park River in general.
We'll be retiring soon and plan to make a trip to Park River so that my husband (of 25 years) can see where I was born and where my roots began.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mandy. I spent time in Edinburg with my aunt Ivah Johnson and grandmother Josephine Shuley in my younger years. Dear Family,
So sorry to hear about Mandy. She was such a wonderful person - she had so much class, a lot of love and faith, and so full of life - what a gracious lady and example. Our parents, Eleanor & Bob, will surely miss her. I enjoyed visiting Mandy when I went with them - she had so many wonderful stories and of course had to know what we'd been up to. She was very proud of her family and talked of you all often. God Bless you all through this difficult time.

Beryl & Family,
It was with great sadness to read that Wendell passed away. I have many memories of trips to Park River and visiting Wendell and Beryl. You both were so much fun and Wendell always a a great big smile on and always had .25 for me. He will be missed and he is in a better place and resting peacefully.

Words are never enough at a time like this. Distance keeps us from being with you in person, but know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Remember how well we babysat your BOXER (in heat)??? A fond time I'll never forget. The White family was always our connection to Park River even after 50 years of being gone. Keep the good memories of Wendell close to your hearts and minds and know that many people who's lives he touched are doing the same.

What wonderful memories we have had of Wendell. Wendell was one of the greatest and finest persons I ever met. I am so honored to have been one of his friends. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this very sad time. We will see all of you on Wednesday evening and at the funeral on Thursday.
