My sympathy to all of Laurel's family. When I was Social Service Designee at First Care Health Center in Park River, Laurel was my contact person at the Osnabrock Good Samaritan Center. She was always so pleasant and cheerful - I know she made families feel welcome as they made arrangements for residents to come to the nursing home. Roberta Coleman Charrier

Dear Jack and Family: I was shocked to hear of Laurel's untimely death. We visited at both Inga's and my brother Bruce's funerals recently. What a friendly and kind person she was, one of those talented "Gardar Gals". May her memory be blessed and may you find strength from a God who loves at this time of sorrow. Sincerely Janet Muldoon (Goodman)

I was deeply saddened and very surprised to hear this morning of Laurel's passing last week. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I knew Laurel professionally and have been looking forward to going to the Osnabrock Good Sam so that I can visit with her for the past 11 years. It was very obvious that she cared very deeply for the residents and their family members and she was a pleasure to work with. I will dearly miss her smiling face and her animated stories about what was happening at the facility. Her smile and laugh were infectious and will be missed by the residents, their families, and her co-workers, but most of all by you, her family. May the strength of God carry you through this difficult time.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Laurel's family. I knew Laurel in her professional role as the Social Services director at Osnabrock Good Samaritan.
Laurel's compassion and professionalism brought such comfort and dignity to my mother, Zilpha Murie, during the last years of mom's life. Laurel's compassion encompassed our entire family and provided a measure of peace during our prolonged sadness and grief. Her commitment to the residents at Osnabrock was obviously professional and personal; Laurel made a difference for each resident and their families every day because her concern and commitment were heartfelt.
I can only imagine the incredible void Laurel's untimely death has created in your lives, and I am so deeply sorry. May you find comfort in your faith and in knowing that Laurel's life touched so many of us. She will be remembered for the love and kindness she brought into our lives.
