In Memory Of: Allen Olson

Comments:
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Allen. Allen and I dated in the early 80's and we shared a trailer together with Ron Brandvold when we worked in Hoople driving beet truck. We shared many good times together and he will be deeply missed. I spoke briefly with Allen about a month ago and we were going to meet up and get reacquainted after all these years when he was in the area. My deepest sympathies goes out to his family and his daughter. I am so sorry for your sudden loss.

I was very saddened to hear of Al's sudden passing. We worked on several building projects in the 90's. Al was a good friend, and he loved to live life to the fullest. I had not seen him in several years, but I still feel an emptiness when I read his obituary. May God take care of him now, and his family feel God's comforting grace.

My prayers and thoughts go out to Kennedi and family.
I met Al while working with him at the Stanton plant. We became friends. I found Al to be a good hearted man who just beamed when he talked about Kennedi and couldn't wait to show you her latest! Her dancing made us all laugh that she was so good at such an early age - her love for her daddy and his for her was something that some people are never lucky enough to have. He wanted Kennedi to know how much her Mom loved her and how much he did hoping she would somehow remember her throughout the years. Now I hope and pray she'll have some memories of how much her Daddy loved her. I babysat for Allen while he did some grocery shopping and the joy Kennedi had when Daddy came home was joyous to watch. I hope you will all find peace in the good memories of your lives with Allen. I hadn't known him long but knew him well enough to know Kennedi is what made his life meaningful. I hope there is some solace to know that Allen can be at peace with Amy and I'm sure they'll be looking down on Kennedi and the family.
I met some of you at Kennedi's birthday party in Minot. I would like to extend any help you might need in the future. You will all be in my prayers.
Sincerely - Maddie

My thoughts and prayers are with Kennedi and the rest of the Okeson family at this time. I know that Sydney will miss Al greatly. She loved him dearly. When she came to live with us in Minnesota, it was because of Al and all of the help that he gave us. We will never forget what you did for us. We lost touch after Amy's passing, but you were always in our thoughts and prayers. You will be missed. I wish we were able to be with your family in their time of sorrow. Take care and God Bless.

I guess I am in such total shock. Jennine and I were just talking about Allen this evening at her house when Marshall came in and showed us Allen's obiturary in the paper.

To the family of Allen,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I think of all the fun memories of Allen. He was always the "picker", but you knew if he picked on you..he liked you. :) I remember his smile...and how he could make anyone smile. [I] [B]“I believe that friends are

Blessed be the memory of Allen.

Allen reached out to me during Amy's cancer. I had not been in touch with him for many years and it was wonderful to have him back in my life.
Amy was an amazing woman and Allen was so in love with her. Baby Kennedi was an expansion of that love.
As the oldest "great-grandchild" of Clara Ellingson of Adams, Allen led the large pack of us all. I will miss him greatly.
It was great having him move back to ND and spend some time with him when I was in the Minot area.
I am very sad for everyone's loss of Allen.
Marianne and Gerry-- I am so sorry!! Corrine, Lance and Larry- your brother was one of a kind!!!
Glenn and Jeanne, I am so sorry!!!
I am going to try to make it to Grafton on Saturday. I am really going to miss Allen.
