In Memory Of: James O'Toole
Comments:
We only knew Jim briefly. My father and Jim shared a room for a few days at St. Benedicts. During those days, and the few short visits I had with Jim I wished I would have had a chance to know him better. He was a welcoming presence to my father and our entire family. I know that my father will be a welcoming presence for Jim today. Until I read the obituary I did not realize that I knew part of your family. Years ago I worked with Steve at an auto parts warehouse, and my wife Mary worked with Erin. On behalf of the brixius family we join you in grieving your loss, and also join you in celebrating that Jim in now whole, and home.

In Memory Of: Mavis Kjelland.

I remember when we first to move to the house we bought on highway 17 near Park River ND. Our neighbors were the Kjelland family, and what a warm welcome we got from them. My twin sons, Cory and Chris, met Kristi and Julie, and they became the best of friends always playing together either at our place or over at their place. It was so much fun for those four children to be able to roam and play in that very open area. I know that my boys will be sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Your family was so very kind to us and welcomed us with open arms. I have so many wonderful memories of living their and having you as neighbors. In Memory Of: Dr. James K. O'Toole
Comments:
It was with great sadness that I read of the passing of Dr. O'Toole. I know his time in Oklahoma may have been difficult, but I most certainly enjoyed every moment I spent working with him at Central State. Gean and Erin may not remember me, but I remember each of you fondly and I especially remember the party you hosted after the Joint Commission survey where Dr. O'Toole introduced me to Peach Schnapps. I always enjoyed receiving his St. Patrick's Day cards even years after his return to Fergus Falls. You would not recognize the hospital or Norman today. It has changed as we all have changed through the years. I retired in 2003 with 30 years. Those I spent working for Dr. O'Toole were some of my best. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Gerrie and I want to convey our deepest condolences on your loss. We feel a great loss also. I personally take great joy in having known Jim. We had a great time in our working relationship at the Mental Health Center. I loved that fun loving Irishman.
Of all the professional relationships I have had, I enjoyed working with Jim more than anyone. Gerrie and I are so grateful for the times we saw you and Jim in Fergus Falls, Gean. They are treasured memories for us.
