In Memory Of: Nettie Johnson
Comments: Kathy:
Nettie was my Grandmother, Borghild's, sister. I saw her at both my Grandmother's and my Mother,Bonnie Kuchar's, funerals. She told me that my Grandma was her "little" sister and that she was 96! There was an amazing resemblance between Nettie, Gudrun and my Grandmother. They were smart, funny, little old ladies. I bet Gudrun is very sad right now. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and know how hard it is when Mom dies. I am sure it is even hard when she is 100! I hope we all get some of those "old lady" genes!

Comments: Dear Roger, Rene and family,
Please know that you are in my heart and prayers today. I have so many great memories of Uncle Wally and Aunt Ruth during their years at the farm with our family. Your Mom always made we 4 kids feel welcome and your Dad entertained us with his good humor and singing. And I learned how much fun youngsters can be as Aunt Ruth let me "babysit"Roger. Your Dad sounded so good on Monday when I called that I was surprised to learn that he had died on Tuesday. He said he was in no pain but that breathing was difficult. I appreciate that this is a difficult time, even when our parents are older. I felt like an orphan- but I am reminded today of how much our family gave us with their strong heritage of family, hard work and strong ethics. Uncle Wally was a good man and I know that you will miss him. I am sorry that the miles kept me from being with you today but please know that you certainly are in my thoughts. With love, Sharon Olson Lovercheck

In Memory Of: Nettie A. Johnson
Comments: I have many wonderful memories of Nettie. She was one of the "Old Aunties" who was greatly loved. My mother was her sister Hilda.
As I child I can remember going to Nettie and Walters and loving every minute. Nettie could always make you laugh and Walter would show you the bulls in the dairy barn if you were good. Years later we would visit them in Edinburg and I would walk all over town with Kathleen.
Thirteen years ago we moved back to North Dakota and renewed our relationship with Nettie and our ND family. I loved her dearly.
My sister Mary and I visited with her last November and true to form she made us laugh. Nettie even made lefse just before Christmas.
I will miss you.

Comments: To the beloved family of Doris, we extend our deepest sympathy. Doris and I spent many hours together as youngsters, then on the phone these past few years. She was a special person and I will remember her hearty laugh and concern for so many people. I also appreciate Harold bringing her to Mountain on the 2nd of August so many years to visit us. To Harold, thanks for all you did to make her life a happy one. To Lloyd, who was a very special child for her. Our love and prayers to you her sisters, Barb and Judy. Hugs, Emily

My sympathy to you in the death of your mother. I am sorry we will not be able to come to her funeral because we are in Dickinson helping my daughter-in-law move to a new house. My son, David, died on October 24.
Marino also sends his sympathy, and we both send sympathy to your husband.
You were a wonderful daughter to your mother, and you were a very sweet second grader.
